Members Only
TX-TF2 is now operational as a state asset.
State Deployments will be handled by a rotating shift basis with one
shift or team First Up for a given month, one shift on standby and
one shift on stand down. The rotation for 2008-2009 is depicted
in the chart below and the makeup of each team is listed next.
2009 CE Schedule
TXTF2 has contracted with iamresponding for an
Emergency Notification System. The system will allow group
notifications to be sent to all members. A toll free number is
provided for members to call in to acknowledge receipt. A built in
tracking system will compile a list of members who have acknowledged
the alert and will track individuals who report they are
unavailable. This will streamline the notification process allowing
the team to be notified in a much shorter time frame.
The system also
allows a member to login from any computer with internet access and
make changes to his personal information, including phone number
changes. There is also a scheduling component that will allow a
member to report that he is unavailable for a particular time
frame. (i.e. a member can post himself out of service for an
entire month, or any number of days, for a family illness or a trip
out of town)
A tutorial will
be out in February on how to update your information and
schedule. It will be each members responsibility to keep their
current numbers updated to avoid missing a deployment.
